What we cover in Brisbane
Scope is set at the site walk. On Brisbane jobs these are the areas that usually make the list.
Brisbane sites we work on
Every area has its own pattern of work. Here is what road & street sweeping usually means around Brisbane.
CBD and inner-city car parks
Multi-deck and basement parking swept overnight so the first commuters arrive on a clean deck.
Industrial estates and hardstand
Eagle Farm through to Acacia Ridge — sealed yards, dock aprons and internal roads.
Construction access and haul routes
Inner-city sites tracking mud onto a busy road get swept on a schedule that keeps council happy.
Machines on the Brisbane run
The machine is matched to the surface and the clearance, not to what happens to be free that day.
Regenerative-air sweepers
Fine sediment across a full lane width, air recirculated in a closed loop.
Mechanical broom
Heavy bulk — gravel, spoil and road base on a rough surface.
Vacuum sweepers
Kerb and channel work, leaves, litter and wet material.
Suburbs we cover around Brisbane
Not an exhaustive list — if your address is nearby it is almost certainly covered.
Road & street sweeping in Brisbane — questions
Something else? Call 1300 387 713 and talk to someone who runs the machines.
How often should a road be swept?
Active construction accesses often need daily or every-second-day sweeping. Industrial estates suit monthly, completed residential streets quarterly, and treed streets get an extra run before storm season.
Do I need street sweeping for compliance?
If your site tracks mud or sediment onto a public road you have a duty to clean it up and to keep sediment out of the stormwater system. Sweeping is the standard control, and councils commonly require it as an approval condition.
How quickly can you get to a Brisbane site?
Usually same day or next day — we have machines working across Brisbane most days, so it is often a matter of adding a stop to a run.
Can you work in the CBD during the day?
We can, but it is rarely the best plan. Most CBD and inner-city work is done between 6pm and 6am to stay clear of traffic, pedestrians and loading zones.
