1. Quotes and acceptance
Quotes are based on the information you give us and, where applicable, what we saw at a site inspection. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Work is accepted when you confirm it in writing, by email, or by directing us to proceed on site.
2. Scope of work
We will carry out the work described in the quote. Anything not described in the quote is not included — including, for example, scrubbing where only sweeping was quoted, pressure cleaning, bin areas, unsealed surfaces, or removal of material we did not generate. Additional work is quoted as a variation before we do it.
3. Commercial and civil work only
We do not undertake residential work. Our machines, insurances and crews are set up for commercial, industrial and civil sites.
4. Site access and conditions
You are responsible for providing safe and practical access to the areas to be cleaned at the agreed time, including keys, swipes, inductions, height clearances and a site free of obstructions where reasonably possible. Where access is restricted, or the site is materially different from what was described or inspected, additional time is charged at our standard hourly rate and we will tell you before proceeding where we can.
5. Safety and inductions
Our operators are trained and will comply with your site rules, traffic management plan and induction requirements, which you agree to make available before work starts. We may stop work if conditions become unsafe. We will supply insurance certificates, safe work method statements and operator tickets on request.
6. Scheduling, delays and cancellation
We will attend within the agreed window. Weather, traffic, breakdowns and conditions outside our control can cause delay, and we will contact you as soon as we know. If you cancel or postpone with less than 24 hours notice, or if our crew attends and cannot work because the site is not accessible or is unsafe, a call-out charge applies.
7. Weather and unsuitable conditions
Sweeping is effective on dry or damp surfaces. Saturated mud, standing water and heavy rain can make sweeping ineffective or counterproductive, and pressure cleaning and scrubbing can be similarly affected. Where conditions make the work ineffective we will recommend rescheduling rather than proceeding.
8. Waste and disposal
Unless the quote says otherwise, material we collect is disposed of at a facility licensed to accept it, and disposal is included as a quoted line. We do not accept, transport or dispose of hazardous or contaminated material unless this has been specifically agreed and quoted in writing.
9. Machine hire
Machines supplied on hire remain our property. You are responsible for operating them in accordance with the instruction given at delivery, for keeping them secure, and for damage beyond fair wear and tear, including damage caused by misuse, unauthorised operators or operating with warning indicators active. Hire charges run for the agreed term and continue until the machine is available for collection.
10. Pre-existing condition
We clean surfaces; we do not resurface them. Staining, etching, oxidisation, rubber bonded into porous concrete, damaged sealer, spalling and pre-existing defects may remain visible after cleaning. Where we can foresee this, we will tell you before starting — commonly at a test patch.
11. Payment
Unless we have agreed account terms with you in writing, payment is due within 14 days of invoice. Accounts in arrears may be placed on hold. We may charge interest on overdue amounts and recover reasonable costs of collection.
12. Liability
We take reasonable care and carry appropriate insurances. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to re-performing the work or refunding the amount paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss including loss of profit, revenue or business interruption. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Damage claims
If you believe we have damaged something on your site, tell us in writing within 7 days of the work so we can inspect it while the evidence is fresh. We will investigate promptly and, where we are responsible, rectify it or refer it to our insurer.
14. Subcontractors
We may engage subcontractors to carry out part of the work. Where we do, we remain responsible to you for that work under these terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
